Fireworks

Uh these pictures make me wish my beach vacation was here now, instead of at the end of the month!  They also make me want to muster up the energy to put together so really chic outfits instead of wearing cut off shorts the whole time.  Hhhhmmmm.  Well I have three weeks to think about it.  Happy 4th of July!

McQueen Resort

I'm not a fan of resort collections usually.  I just don't get excited the same way I do when anticipating a new season and new style.  However, the McQueen resort collection has me drooling!!  I am coveting a blazer with an inconsistent hem, either longer or shorter in the back than the front.  Loving it!

L'Amour Fou

Both tragic and epic, L'Amour Fou recounts in words and pictures the life of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge during the rise of an epic career that changed fashion forever.  It is beautifully done, and proves that love truly can conquer anything.  

I went to see this documentary at the Paris theatre, which is my absolute favorite movie theatre.  It feels like a step back into a more elegant era.  I always feel like I have to get dressed to go, and and as the velvet curtain opens I get excited about the show I am going to see.  After the movie I always turn te corner to gaze into the beautifully put together Bergdorf windows.  Truly a great way to spend a Friday evening.

Motha's day

Without my motha I don't know where I would be.  She is the kindest and most selfless soul that I have ever come across, and has taught me to embrace good people, good moments, and good things.  She taught me that you catch more flies with honey, and that being a good person is what matters above all.  The bond I have with my mom is the most important thing in my life, and I'd be lost without her.  Happy Motha's day Motha...you are loved to the moon!!!!!!!
